Home furnishing brand Haus & Kinder raises Rs.30-Cr from Sauce.vc
Mumbai-based D2C (direct-to-consumer) home lifestyle and furnishing brand Haus & Kinder has raised INR 30 crore (USD 3.4 million) in its first funding round, led by Sauce.vc, with participation from angel investors. Founded in 2020 by Saket Dhankar and Kanupriya Anand, Haus & Kinder sells a variety of home and baby products, including bedding, towels, cushion covers, blankets, curtains, and baby essentials like swaddles and feeding pillows, boasting over 1,500 SKUs across 10 categories. The company sells its products through its own website, various online marketplaces and quick commerce platforms.The new capital will be used for channel expansion, particularly in quick commerce, the introduction of new product categories like curtains, and for hiring talent.Haus & Kinder's revenue increased to INR 65.9 crore in FY24, up from INR 30.25 crore in FY23. The brand aims to achieve a revenue of INR 250 crore by 2026. The company had earlier raised about INR 20 crore from family offices.
For FY24, Haus & Kinder had reported about INR 66 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 6 Cr in Net Loss.
