Home loan startup Ambak raises Rs.69-Cr led by Peak XV Partners, Z47

Gurugram-based home loan startup Ambak has raised INR 69 crore (about USD 7.84 million) in a Series A funding round co-led by existing investors Peak XV Partners and Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners) with participation from DeVC India, Advantage Technology Fund, Calabasas Ventures, AngelList, Sushmita Mathur, Ojaswa Sharma, and Anil Kumar Goteti.Founded in 2023, Ambak provides a three-step system to streamline the home loan process, matching customers with financiers using Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and bank rule engines. Its model aims to simplify workflows for both borrowers and lending partners.

Between Jan-24 and Jan-25, Ambak had attracted about USD 10.21 M from AdvantEdge Partners, DeVC India, Peak XV Partners, Z47, and others.For FY24, Ambak had reported about INR 1.03 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 2.12 Cr in Net Loss.
