HR Tech startup Expertia AI raises Rs.20-Cr led by Rockstud Capital
Bengaluru-based recruiter platform Expertia AI has raised INR 20 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Rockstud Capital, with participation from Flipkart and existing investors Endiya Partners and Chiratae Ventures. The new proceeds will be used to enhance product development and expand its technology team.Founded in 2021 by Kanishk Shukla and Akshay Gugnani, Expertia AI provides an agentic platform that automates talent discovery, sourcing, screening, assessment, and interviews across more than 35 job platforms. The firm is claimed to leverage proprietary deep learning algorithms and natural language processing (NLP) to surface the most relevant talent in real time. Its patent-pending AI technology enables recruiters to go beyond traditional resumes, adopting a skill-first approach for precise candidate-job matching.
In Feb 2022, Expertia AI had attracted about USD 1.20 M from Chiratae Ventures, and Endiya Partners.For FY23, Expertia AI had reported about INR 16 lakhs in Operating Income and about INR 2.14 Cr in Net Loss.
