HUL to buy 14.3% stake in recycled plastics co Lucro
Hindustan Unilever (HUL) is acquiring a 14.3% stake in Mumbai-headquartered Lucro Plastecycle , a player in waste management and a recycled flexible plastics maker.Established in 2012, Lucro aims to close the loop on plastic usage by transforming it from a linear to a circular economy, preventing it from ending up in landfills. It claims to provide sustainable packaging solutions for industries including FMCG, F&B, retail, fashion, automotive, and electronics.
