Ice popsicle brand Skippi raises Rs.12-Cr in extended pre-Series A round
Ice popsicle brand Skippi has raised INR 12 crore (about USD 1.4 million) in an extended pre-Series A funding round led by Bestvantage Investments. Dubai based family offices contributed INR 10 crore and the remaining INR 2 crore came from other angel investors.The fresh funds will be used by the company for expanding into the Middle East market.Founded in 2021, Skippi, an ice popsicle brand which specializes in natural ice pops made with a range of flavors including traditional Indian flavours like Kala Khatta and follows an omnichannel retail model, selling through its website, online marketplaces, and other distribution networks.
For FY24, Skippi had reported about INR 20.18 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 12.92 Cr in Net Loss.
