IFC to invest $20-M in MSME-focused NBFC FlexiLoans
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is to make an equity investment of up to USD 20 million in Epimoney Pvt Ltd, the parent company of Mumbai-based NBFC FlexiLoans.In September this year, FlexiLoans had announced a Series C fundraise of INR 290 crore from global and domestic investors including Accion, Nuveen, Fundamentum, and existing investor Maj Invest.Launched in 2016, FlexiLoans offers term loans ranging from INR 2 lakh to INR 10 crore. The company disbursed over INR 3,000 crore loans in FY24 and is looking to disburse INR 5,100 crore in FY25 across term loans and supply chain finance. It has disbursed over 1.3 lakh loans amounting to over INR 7,000 crore so far.
