IFC to invest $30-M in L Catterton’s $600-M India-focused fund

International Finance Corporation (IFC) is to invest USD 30 million in the L Catterton India Fund-I with an additional co-investment amount of USD 30 million.The USD 600 million fund launched by L Catterton in March 2024 along with former Hindustan Unilever (HUL) chief executive Sanjiv Mehta. The fund will focus primarily across segments such as food and beverages, consumer services (including healthcare, retail and restaurants), and consumer brands with cheque size ranging from USD 25-150 million
