IHCL to acquire 51% stake in Brij Hospitality for Rs.225-Cr

Publicly listed Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) is to acquire a 51% stake in Jaipur-headquartered Brij Hospitality Private Ltd for INR 225 crore. The proposed transaction involves a primary investment of INR 105-140 crore and a secondary share purchase of INR 85 crore.Co-founded by Udit Kumar and Anant Apurv Kumar, Brij Hospitality is a boutique brand with a portfolio of 22 hotels (11 in operation and 11 under development) spanning 440 keys in Dharamshala, Varanasi, and Jaipur. The company posted a turnover of INR 62.31 crore in financial year 2024-25.
