IIT Roorkee, IvyCap Ventures, NuQuant launch super endowment fund; target Rs.1,000-Cr corpus
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has partnered with IvyCap Ventures and NuQuant to launch a Super Endowment Fund with a target corpus of INR 1,000 crore.The fund is designed as a perpetual and self-sustaining capital source. It aims to support research excellence, entrepreneurship, and technology translation across the IIT network. IvyCap Ventures will manage the endowment, which seeks to mobilise contributions from alumni, philanthropic organisations, and global corporations and institutions.The initiative focuses on sectors such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, quantum computing, clean energy, climate resilience, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, the circular economy, and agritech.
