Image optimization platform Gumlet raises $1.6 M from Sequoia Surge, others
Bengaluru-based SaaS startup Gumlet has raised USD 1.6 million from Sequoia Capital India's Surge, as part of its fifth cohort of 23 companies. Angel investors Aakrit Vaish, Miten Sampat, Swapan Rajdev and Yash Kothari also participated in this round. The company aims to help developers resize and optimise images and videos as per their device or browser, providing high-quality media at the lowest possible bandwidth.
