Impact finance firm Kaleidofin raises $5.3-M led by IDH Farmfit Fund

Chennai-based fintech firm Kaleido Fin has raised USD 5.3 million (INR 44.5 crore) in a round led by IDH Farmfit Fund. The new funds will be used by the company for expanding lending portfolio, middleware and risk services.Co-founded in 2017 by Sucharita Mukherjee and Puneet Gupta, Kaleidofin provides financial solutions for low-income customers and businesses in the informal economy. It claims to have facilitated loan disbursal of more than USD 4.5 Billion for 7.2 million customers and enterprises in the informal economy.

Between Mar-18 and Sep-24, Kaleidofin had attracted about USD 39 M from Blume Ventures, Omidyar Network, Bharat Innovation Fund, Oikocredit,Flourish Ventures, Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, Alteria Capital and others.For FY24, Kaleidofin had reported about INR 25.7 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 32.24Cr in Net Loss.
