India Deep Tech Alliance selects 20 IIT-incubated startups for inaugural cohort
The India Deep Tech Alliance (IDTA) has raised a cohort of 20 startups for the inaugural India Deep Tech Accelerator programme, led by the UChicago Polsky Center. The programme was developed by IDTA in collaboration with various Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) innovation networks.The accelerator programme supports IIT-affiliated startups by providing guidance to develop research-based projects into scalable and market-ready firms. Participating companies in this first cohort include Adaapt, which focuses on artificial intelligence middleware, and Albatross, which creates energy-efficient cooling technology, as well as Augle.AI, BioSky Space Innovations, and Ceratattva Innotech.The selected startups are currently participating in a 10-week programme that runs through June. During this time, the founders receive support to strengthen commercial strategies, attend workshops, and connect with global partners, customers, and investors.IDTA is a $2.5-B coalition comprising investors and global firms operating in the space, defence, and semiconductor sectors.
