Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys acquires 26% stake in EG Urja Strot

Bhubaneswar-based Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA) has acquired a 26% stake in Hyderabad-based EG Urja Strot for INR 110.18 Cr. The company has also signed a 29-year power purchase agreement under a captive consumer structure. The transaction also involves securing 65 MW of hybrid renewable energy to support its ferrochrome operations.
