Indo-Israeli cybersecurity co SafeHouse Tech raises $6-M
New Delhi-headquartered cybersecurity company SafeHouse Tech has raised USD 6 million in a pre-Series A funding round from a consortium of high networth individuals (HNIs) led by Gonpo Tsering. The company will use the capital to expand in Europe and SouthEast Asia, simultaneously supporting growth initiatives in India. The funds will also be used for strengthening the R&D division and technology and for introducing new product features. Founded by Aditya Narang, Liad Herman, and Miri Yudovich, SafeHouse Tech is an Indo-Israeli cybersecurity with a flagship mobile security app called BodyGuard that was launched in 2019. It claims to have more than 2.5 million Indian users, with a distribution network in 5,000 stores covering more than 700 cities. The company has raised several rounds of funding from institutional investors such as Barclays Ventures, Techstars Ventures, and Kube VC along with ultra individuals such as Gonpo Tsering, Gopal Das, Dr Purnendu Chatterjee, and Gaurav Saxena. To date, the company has raised a total of USD 9 million.
