IndusDC to channel Rs.100-Cr to decarbonisation startups
Decarbonisation-focused venture studio IndusDC is to help attract INR 100 crore into tech startups across the industrial and energy sectors. Each startup will have access to INR 20 crore in a combination of grants, equity for early revenue until profitability, and debt or working capital for scaling.The studio aims to build five startups in the next two years and more than 50 globally over the next decade.IndusDC was founded in 2023 by Kushant Uppal, Satyanarayanan Seshadri, and Kaustubh and backed by angel investors Ashish Gupta (Helion Ventures) and Sri Myneni (Knoah Solutions). It has already received commitments for the first five startups from Mirik Gogri of Spectrum Impact, the family office of Aarti Industries’ promoters.
