Industrial explosives maker SBL Energy raises Rs 325-Cr from Synergy Capital, others

Raipur-based industrial explosives manufacturer SBL Energy has raised INR 325 crore in growth capital from Synergy Capital, India SME Investments and a few other investors. The company will deploy the funds to expand its manufacturing capacity and launch new products.SBL Energy has been in operation for almost three decades and commands around 10% market share in industrial explosives. While SBL caters to the mining and infrastructure sectors, it is also making inroads into the defence sector recently.
