Info Edge arm Redstart to pick up addl stake in MRI-focused Brainsight for Rs.3-Cr
Online classifieds player Info Edge’s subsidiary Redstart Labs is to acquire an additional stake in Bengaluru-based Brainsight Technology for INR 3 crore (around USD 353,000). Redstart would acquire 385 compulsorily convertible preference shares of Brainsight, and this acquisition would increase Info Edge’s stake in the company from 4.68% to 5.27%.Founded in 2019 by Laina Emmanuel and Rimjhim Agrawal, Brainsight offers AI based solutions for functional brain mapping through its products - Voxelbox (which gives clinicians access to fMRI processing engine and machine learning models for generating reports) and Snowdrop (a patient care app).
In Jun 2023, BrainSightAI had raised about USD 1 M from Avaana Capital, Info Edge, She Capital and others.
