Insurer Acko acquires health-tech co. OneCare
Insurer Acko has acquired Bengaluru-based OneCare , a digital chronic care management company. Dr Rakesh Shivran and Sagar Bhat, the co-founders of OneCare, will join the leadership team of Acko.OneCare has an omnichannel model of chronic care delivery, which is built around advanced wearables & clinical insights.
In Nov-21, OneCare had raised USD 1 M from Multiply Ventures and Better Capital. The round saw participation from a host of angel investors, including Kunal Shah , Shashank ND , Saikiran Krishnamurthy , Ankit Bhati and Zishaan Hayath . In 2022 and 2023, OneCare attracted additional funding via AngelList and Bharat Founders Fund Syndicate.
