Insurtech platform Insurance Samadhan raises Rs 8.5 Cr
Noida-based Insurance grievance redressal platform Insurance Samadhan has raised INR 8.5 crore from a consortium of family offices. Innovito Ventures acted as the financial advisor for the transaction.The fresh funds will be used to strengthen the firm’s technology infrastructure and expand the suite of products.Founded in 2018 by Deepak Bhuvneshwari Uniyal, Shailesh Kumar, and Sanjay Aggarwal, Insurance Samadhan simplifies and digitises insurance processes to enable a seamless experience for policyholders, advisors, hospitals and insurers. It claims to have resolved over 18,000 complaints, helping policyholders recover claims worth INR 160 crore.
Between Dec 2021 and Dec 2022, Insurance Samadhan had attracted about USD 4 M from 360 ONE, Equanimity Investments and others.For FY24, Insurance Samadhan had reported about INR 4 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 8.6 Cr in Net Loss.
