Insurtech startup ClaimBuddy raises $5-M led by Bharat Innovation Fund

Gurugram-based health insurance startup ClaimBuddy has raised USD 5 million led by Bharat Innovation Fund with participation from Japanese fund CAC Capital and existing investors including Chiratae Ventures and Rebright Partners. ClaimBuddy will use the funds to advance technology, expand team and sales network, and add new product lines for its growing network of hospitals.ClaimBuddy was founded by Khet Singh Rajpurohit and Ajit Patel to help simplify the health insurance claims process. It has processed claims for over 35,000 patients, valued at over INR 500+ crore and has established collaborations with 250+ partner hospitals across India.

In Jan-22, ClaimBuddy had raised USD 3 million from Chiratae Ventures, Rebright Partners, Relentless Ventures, Others.
