Insurtech startup Finsall raises Rs.15-Cr led by Unicorn India, SEA Fund
Bengaluru-based insurtech startup Finsall has raised INR 15 crore in bridge funding led by existing investors Unicorn India Ventures and SEA Fund along with several other institutional investors.The funds will be used to set up a non-banking finance company for scaling lending operations and for enhancing partnerships with insurers and lenders.Founded in 2018 by Tim Mathews, Promod Khanna and Prabal Khanna, Finsall is a ‘buy now pay-later' startup in the insurance sector that provides insurance premium financing services to a diverse set of policy seekers. The company is in talks to raise around USD 10 million in its Series A round.
Between April 2019 and Dec 2021, Finsall had raised over USD 1.95 million from Unicorn India Ventures, SEA Fund and a couple of angels.
