Insurtech startup InsuranceDekho raises funds ahead of IPO

Gurugram-based insurtech startup InsuranceDekho has secured funding as part of USD 75-100 million larger funding from Beams VC (via Beames Fintech Fund), MUFG Innovation Partners (via MUFG Bank) and C. Development (an associate firm of BNP Paribas Cardif). The company is planning an IPO shortly which is expected to finalize within weeks, with existing investors participating.Founded in 2017 by Ankit Agrawal and Ish Babbar, InsuranceDekho provides diverse insurance products and is planning for expansion using raised funds.

In 2023, InsuranceDekho had raised about USD 210 M from Avataar Venture Partners, Goldman Sachs, InvestCorp Group, LeapFrog, TVS Capital, Beams VC, and MUFG Innovation Partners.For FY24, InsuranceDekho had reported about INR 743 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 85 Cr in PAT.
