Interior design startup Flipspaces raises $35-M led by Iron Pillar; Carpedium exits

Mumbai-based interior design startup Flipspaces has raised USD 35 million - via a mix of primary and secondary components - led by Iron Pillar with participation from existing investors Synergy Capital and Prudent Investment Managers. Carpediem Capital exited as part of the round. BDA Partners were the exclusive advisors for Flipspaces for the fundraise.The fresh funds will be used by the company for growth across India, the USA, the UAE, besides strengthening the brand, technology and explore inorganic growth opportunities in new geographies and in adjacent categories.Founded in 2015 by Kunal Sharma, Ankur Mucchal, Vikash Anand and Mrinal Sharma Flipspace provides interior design, contracting, and project management services, with a focus on leveraging technology and virtual reality for commercial spaces.

Between Dec 2018 and Sep 2023, Flipspace had attracted about USD 8 M from Carpediem Capital Partners, UC Inclusive Credit, MGA Ventures, others.
