International school boards’ test-prep player Sortmyprep raises $350-K
Mumbai-based education technology firm Sortmyprep has raised USD 0.35-M in a pre-seed funding round. The investment saw participation from Boman Irani of the Rustomjee Group, Sameer Mehta of boAt, Subrat Pani of OneAssist, Rohini Kasturi of HG Insights and Ranjit Pawar of the London Stock Exchange Group.Founded in 2025 by Ananya Pritam, Aryaman Adhikary, and Naman Kothari, the company operates under ZKAP Edtech Service. It provides students with access to a board-aligned conversational virtual AI tutor and a personalised doubt-solving platform.The company plans to use the new funds to strengthen its AI infrastructure, expand its curriculum coverage, and accelerate growth across both India and international markets.
