Internet access provider WIOM raises $35-M led by Accel, Prosus
New Delhi-headquartered telecom technology startup WIOM has raised USD 35 million in a funding round led by Accel India and Prosus Ventures. The round also witnessed participation from several existing investors.The company last raised USD 17 million in a Series A round in 2023, led by RTP Global. The latest fundraise brings its total funding to USD 55 million.Founded in 2015 by Mishra, Satyam Darmora, Nishit Aggarwal, and Maanas Dwivedi, WIOM serves as an aggregator of internet operators and has over 70,000 WiFi Access Network Interface hotspots.
Between Dec-15 and June 2023, Wiom had raised over USD 24.3-M from 3ONE4 Capital, YourNest, Alteria Capital, Blume Ventures, Omidyar Network India and others.For FY24, WIOM had reported about INR 16 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 45 Cr in Net Loss.
