IoT startup Datoms to raise Rs.25-Cr in Series A
Bhubaneswar-based deeptech IoT startup Datoms is to raise INR 25 crore (USD 2.77 million) in a Series A funding round led by BIG Global Investments JSC (INR 15 crore), with participation from existing investors YourNest Innovative Products VC Fund (INR 6 crore) and IvyCap Ventures (INR 4 crore).Founded in 2015 by Amiya Samantaray, Nataraj Sahoo, Amrit Biswal, and Asish Sahoo, Datoms develops a connected operations cloud that unifies people, processes, and machines on a single platform and caters to sectors including construction, warehousing, agriculture, mining, and ports.The new funds will be used to support growth and expansion, meet operational requirements, and fund general corporate purposes.
For FY25, Datoms had reported about INR 6 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 6 Cr in Net Loss.
