IT Services firm Brillio attracts investment from Vikram Pandit's Orogen Group
Bengaluru- and Edison, NJ (USA)-based IT Services firm Brillio has attracted an investment from Orogen Group (an US-based investment firm founded by former Citigroup CEO Vikram Pandit). Latham & Watkins LLP served as legal counsel to Brillio in the transaction. Davis Polk & Wardwell served as legal counsel and Citi served as financial advisor to Orogen. Kirkland & Ellis LLP and AZB & Partners served as legal counsel, and J.P. Morgan & Co. as financial advisor to Brillio's existing investor, Bain Capital. Brillio, led by Founder and CEO Raj Mamodia, is expanding its capabilities in technologies such as data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI). It will leverage Orogen's network in the BFSI industry to expand its services.
