iVP Semi bags $5-M to set up fabless chip design centres in Chennai, Bengaluru

Former Tessolve CEO Raja Manickam’s Chennai-headquartered fabless semiconductor startup iVP Semi has raised USD 5 million as part of its Pre-Series A funding round. iVP Semi will use the funds to set up testing facilities and build presence in India. A part of the capital will also be used to scale up operations and fuel marketing initiatives. iVP Semi has offices in Singapore, Taiwan, and the US.iVP will set up chip design centres in Chennai and Bengaluru and will licence product IP from Taiwan, Japan and the US.
