Japan’s Chubu Electric Power invests Rs.1,350-Cr in Continuum Green Energy

Japan’s Chubu Electric Power is to invest approximately INR 1,350 crore in Mumbai-based Continuum Green Energy .Founded in 2009, Continuum Green Energy generates wind and solar power and sells electricity to commercial and industrial customers across India. The firm operates projects in states including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and Karnataka.The investment aims to support India’s decarbonization goals and expand the customer base of Continuum Green Energy by leveraging the customer network of Chubu Electric Power Miraiz. This collaboration intends to assist companies in procuring renewable energy as they enter the Indian manufacturing market.

Between Jun 2012 and Mar 2026, Continuum Green Energy had attracted about $ 932 M from Morgan Stanley, IFC, Olympus Capital, CPPIB, Just Climate and others.For FY25, Continuum Green Energy had reported about INR 194 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 130 Cr in Net Loss.
