Jewellery brand Giva in talks with TPG, Sofina, Multiples to raise $100-M

Bengaluru-headquartered jewellery chain Giva is in talks to raise $80-100-M involving private equity investors TPG, Sofina, and Multiples. The transaction is expected to be a mix of primary and secondary capital, with some early backers potentially exiting the company.Founded in 2019 by Ishendra Agarwal and Nikita Prasad, Giva sells sterling silver, gold, and lab-grown diamond jewellery. The company operates over 240 physical stores across India and intends to open 150 additional outlets this year, with a focus on tier-II cities.Giva plans to use the proceeds to open new stores, expand its inventory lines, and strengthen its manufacturing capabilities.

Between Dec 2019 and May 2026, GIVA had attracted about USD 205 M from BlackSoil Capital, InCred Alternatives, Nuvama Private Equity, Stride Ventures, HarbourVest, Kenro Capital, PremjiInvest, Titan Capital, Creaegis, Edelweiss Private Equity, Epiq Capital, India Quotient, LogX Ventures, FounderBank Capital and others.For FY25, GIVA had reported about INR 518.94 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 80.84 Cr in Net loss.
