JM Financial Asset Management raises Rs.700-Cr for pre-IPO fund

Mumbai-based JM Financial Asset Management has raised INR 700 Cr in the first close of its maiden pre-IPO fund. The fundraising round received commitments from ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors.The fund, titled JM Financial India Pre-IPO Fund, was launched with a target corpus of INR 1,500 Cr and a green shoe option of INR 1,000 Cr. This fund will operate as a sector-agnostic vehicle. The firm plans to use the capital to invest in companies that are expected to list on public markets within 18 months.As of July 2026, JM Financial Asset Management had assets under management totalling INR 14,081 Cr. This transaction marks the entry of the firm's Alternative Investment Fund division into the pre-IPO investment space.
