Jobs portal Workindia to raise $13-M led by Aavishkaar Capital
Bengaluru-based blue- and grey-collar job portal WorkIndia is to raise INR 114.35 crore (USD 13 million) in a new funding round from Aavishkaar Capital (contributing INR 50 crore), existing investor Beenext (contributing INR 22 crore), and the company’s co-founders Nilesh Dungarwal and Moiz Arsiwala (contributing INR 42.35 crore together).Founded in 2015 by Kunal Patil, Nilesh Dungarwal, and Moiz Arsiwala, WorkIndia operates as a job platform for blue- and grey-collar workers, providing opportunities across categories such as tele-calling, field sales, and delivery roles.
Between Mar 2016 and Jan 2023, WorkIndia had attracted about USD 25 M from Asuka, Beenext, Beenos Partners, Xiaomi, BlackSoil Capital, Insitor Fund and others.For FY25, WorkIndia had reported about INR 79 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 23 Cr in Net Loss.
