K-12 schools operator Lighthouse Learning raises addl funding from KKR, others

Education services provider Lighthouse Learning Group has raised further investments from KKR alongside a new investor, PSP Investments. KKR is making this investment predominantly from its Asian Fund IV as well as other KKR-managed capital.Lighthouse Learning Group operates in early childhood and K-12 education segments, with a portfolio of brands including EuroKids, Kangaroo Kids, EuroSchool, Billabong High International, Centre Point Group of Schools, Heritage International Xperiential School, and Heritage Xperiential Learning School. The company claims to nurture over 1.9 lakh students daily across more than 1,850 pre-schools and 60 K-12 schools.The fresh funds will be used to expand Lighthouse Learning's network of K-12 schools and pre-schools, as well as enhance its teaching and technology capabilities and operational excellence.

In Aug 2019, KKR had acquired Lighthouse from existing investors led by Gaja Capital for around INR 1,400 crore.
