KIAL looks to raise in excess of $1-B for strategic situations fund
Kotak Investment Advisors Ltd (KIAL) is looking to make the first close of its USD 1 Billion Kotak Strategic Situations Fund in Sep-Oct. KIAL's first fund, called ‘Kotak Special Situations Fund' (KSSF) was launched in 2019 with a corpus of USD 1 Billion. Two portfolio companies of the fund – TVS Logistics and Gold Plus Glass – are expected to go for an initial public offering (IPO) in the coming months.
