Kidney care-focused NU Hospitals raises funding from Somerset Indus Capital
Bengaluru-based nephrology- and urology-focused NU Hospitals has raised funding from healthcare focused PE investor, Somerset Indus Capital Partners. The Series A investment will support NU Hospitals’ growth, expand access to specialised kidney care in new markets and strengthen operational capabilities to serve a larger patient base in India as well as overseas. Veda Corporate Advisors was the financial advisor to NU Hospitals on the investment.NU Hospitals, incorporated in 1999, currently operates hospitals in Bengaluru, Shivamogga, Ambur (Tamil Nadu) and Male (Maldives).
