Kids-focused snacking startup Slurrp Farm raises $7.2 M
Gurugram-based children-focused snacking startup and meal brand Slurrp Farm has raised INR 59.9 crore (USD 7.2 million) from new and existing investors.Existing investors Fireside Venture and Raed Capital invested INR 12.4 crore and INR 5.48 crore, respectively. New investors Alkemi Ventures and Madhurima International contributed INR 17.5 crore each. Sharrp Ventures (investment office of the Harsh Mariwala family) also participated with INR 7 crore. The company is valued at around INR 510 crore (USD 62 million) post-allotment. The company will use the fresh capital to augment long-term financial resources.In February 2022, Slurrp Farm raised USD 7 million in a Series B round led by Investment Corporation of Dubai. Following the round, Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma joined as anninvestor.Founded in 2016, the company makes millet-based snacks and meals for young children. Its portfolio has over 25 products including porridges and cereals, puffed snacks for children, millet pancakes, millet dosa, cake mixes, and others.
