Kids’ food brand Gladful raises Rs.8-Cr from Eternal Capital, existing investors
Gurugram-based children’s nutrition food brand Gladful has raised INR 8 crore in a funding round led by Eternal Capital. The round also saw participation from existing investors Antler India and Venture Catalysts, both of whom doubled down on their investment in the brand. Other participants in the funding round include RWA Advisors, Arav Ventures, and angels Aman Tekriwal and Sairam Krishnamurthy.The new funds will be used to strengthen its core team across R&D, marketing, and growth; invest in innovation; and deepen digital distribution on quick-commerce platforms. It also plans to deepen its presence across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, cross INR 60 crore in revenue over the next three years, and build a strong omni-channel presence.Founded in 2021 by Parul Sharma and Manu Sharma, Gladful offers protein- and fibre-rich nutrition breakfast mixes and snacks through its D2C (direct-to-consumer) website as well as e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Zepto, and Blinkit.
In Dec 2021, Gladful had attracted about USD 0.27 M from Antler India and others.For FY24, Gladful had reported about INR 4 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 2 Cr in Net Loss.
