Kilburn Engineering acquires waste heat recovery firm ME Energy for Rs.99-Cr
Kolkata-based Kilburn Engineering Ltd (KEL) has acquired ME Energy Pvt Ltd , a Pune-based waste heat recovery and reutilisation systems company, for INR 98.70 crore, including a cash pay-out of INR 75.46 crore.ME Energy, with a revenue of INR 44.70 crore in 2022-23, brings expertise in waste heat recovery (WHR) solutions, complementing KEL's existing portfolio of drying systems.
In Oct 2012, Helix Investments had invested INR 20 Cr in ME Energy.For FY23, ME Energy had reported INR 45 Cr in Operating Income and INR 3 Cr in PAT.
