KKR sells addl Max Healthcare shares worth Rs.3,297-Cr; registers 4.45x return
KKR has sold a 10% stake in publicly-listed Max Healthcare Institute Ltd for INR 3,296.83 crore on Mar 31, 2022 through bulk deals on the NSE. Post the sale, KKR would hold a 27.54% stake in the company.
From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: Starting in Jul 2017, KKR had invested in Radiant Life Car. In 2020, Radiant Life Care got merged with Max Healthcare Institute through a share swap deal. As a result, KKR acquired 51.94% stake in Max Healthcare.
