KKR veterans Sanjay Nayar, Johannes Huth anchor Rs.2,500-Cr buyout fund ‘Arjav Capital’
Former KKR executives Sanjay Nayar and Johannes Huth are anchoring Arjav Capital , a mid-market buyout fund with a target corpus of INR 2,000 crore to INR 2,500 crore. The fund has already secured commitments of INR 650 crore to INR 700 crore from various family offices. Other investors in the fund include former Bharti Enterprises vice chairman Akhil Gupta, Caravel Group’s Angad Banga, UST Global’s Paras Chandaria, Alliance Tire Group founder Yogesh Mahansaria, Apparel Group chairman Nilesh Ved, and DIG Investment, which is backed by the founding family of H&M.Arjav Capital is focused on investing in Indian manufacturing and industrial companies that are undergoing a technology-led transformation.
