Kogta Financial raises $148-M from OTPP; Morgan Stanley, Creador make part exits
Jaipur-based NBFC, Kogta Financial (India) Ltd , has attracted INR 1,230 crore (USD 148 million) in Series E investment from the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP). Rahul Mukim, Director, Private Capital - India, OTPP, will join the board of Kogta. The deal will provide partial exits to Kogta’s existing institutional investors Morgan Stanley and Creador. Kotak Investment Banking was the financial advisor to the transaction.
Between Oct 2016 and Mar 2022, Kogta Financial had raised USD 190 M from IIFL AMC, Morgan Stanley, Creador and Multiples PE.
