Korea's KVIC in talks to invest in Indian VC firms

Korean Government backed Fund-of-Funds investor Korea Venture Investment Corporation (KVIC) is in talks to invest in Indian venture capital firms through its USD 100-M Foreign VC Global Fund, which is dedicated to investing in offshore venture capital funds. The commitment requires the recipient venture capital funds to invest an equivalent amount of capital into South Korean companies.The firm recently met with Exfinity Venture Partners, 3one4 Capital, Speciale Invest, Iron Pillar, and Trident Growth Partners. Another South Korean investment firm, IMM Investment Corp, was also involved in the discussions.
