Laundry service provider Lavado raises funding from Pepperfry founders
Mumbai-based laundry and accessory care service Lavado has raised funds in a pre-institutional round from Pepperfry.com founders Ashish Shah and Ambareesh Murty. It will use the funds to step up logistical coverage across Mumbai while simultaneously expanding its ecosystem of local laundry businesses. The company is looking to enter Thane, Navi Mumbai and Vashi and will soon raise Series A funding. Lavado, run by Elan Lifestyle, recently launched its mobile app to offer customers a seamless and transparent laundry experience. The startup was founded in 2017 by Disha Jain.
