Lender to SMEs Seeds Fincap raises $8.5 M in Series A led by Lok Capital, Z47
Gurugram-based Seeds Fincap , a non-deposit-taking NBFC, has raised USD 8.5 million in Series A funding led by Lok Capital and Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners India). The new funds will enable it to expand its lending capabilities, enhance technological infrastructure and broaden branch footprint.Founded by Subhash Acharya and Avishek Sarkar, Seeds Fincap specialises in offering loans ranging from INR 1 lakh to INR 5 lakh, tailored to the needs of MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) across manufacturing and trading segments. At present it has 90 branches across eight states and claims to have disbursed over INR 600 crore to more than 50,000 clients.
