Lending infra provider to banks Mannjal raises Rs.17.5 Cr led by Arali Ventures, B Capital

Bengaluru-based unified lending platform Mannjal has raised INR 17.5 crore in a seed funding round led by Arali Ventures and B Capital, with participation from Sparrow Capital and Gemba Capital.Founded in 2023 by Prashant Adurty, Aman Bhargava, and Harshit Lingamneni, Mannjal operates a platform designed to help financial institutions distribute impact-led and priority sector credit products. Mannjal's AI-ready infrastructure aims to streamline field operations, origination, and decisioning for efficient credit delivery across borrower segments.Over the past 18 months, the platform claims to have facilitated the disbursement of nearly INR 1,000 crore in credit across unsecured business loans, loans against property, and affordable housing loans, and has grown its network to over 75 lenders.The company plans to use the funds to support product innovation and expand its lender network.

In May 2023, Mannjal had attracted about USD 1 M from All In Capital, Gemba Capital, SiriusOne Capital, Sparrow Capital, and others.
