LetterOne hires Rahul Mukim to lead $2-B India investment program

Luxembourg-headquartered LetterOne has appointed Rahul Mukim to lead its planned USD 2 Billion investment program in India.Rahul Mukim previously served as the India private equity head at Canada’s Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, managing private equity investments, including the acquisition of a stake in Omega Healthcare alongside Goldman Sachs and an investment in Sahyadri Hospitals.The investment program will focus on the healthcare and energy sectors. Previously, the firm announced plans to invest USD 125 million in Indian venture capital and private equity funds as a limited partner to build a portfolio of local commitments.
