Light Microfinance raises $10-M from 3 European impact investors
Ahmedabad-based microlender Light Microfinance has raised USD 10 million (INR 72.86 crore) in series A funding from European impact investors: Belgium's Incofin, Norway's Nordic Microfinance Initiative and Holland's Triple Jump BV. The new capital is expected to boost the lender's expansion plans in Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. It will also strengthen the lender's balance sheet and expansion of loan book to over INR 1,000 crore.
