Lighthouse buys addl Shaily Engineering Plastics shares worth Rs.39-Cr

Lighthouse, via Lighthouse India III Equity Investors Ltd, has bought additional 225,407 equity shares (2.46% stake) at INR 1,701.97 per share of publicly-listed Shaily Engineering Plastics Ltd on Mar 24, 2022 through a bulk deal on BSE. The purchase aggregates to INR 38.36 crore. Post the purchase, Lighthouse would hold 8.05% stake (738,228 equity shares) in the company.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Aug 2021, Lighthouse had invested INR 90 crore at INR 1,755 per share through preferential allotment. Lighthouse had previously invested INR 8.39 crore in July 2007 and INR 1.38 crore in Aug 2009 in the same company and had exited those investments in Aug 2015 with a 5.43x return.
