Lightrock appoints Samir Abhyankar as India head

Lightrock, a global investment platform, has appointed Samir Abhyankar as a Partner and Head of India. He joins from British International Investment (BII) and will be responsible for scaling up the group’s India operations into a strategic hub for regional capital deployment and value creation.To date, Lightrock-advised private market investment funds have deployed nearly USD 1 Billion into more than 45 Indian companies.
