Lightspeed Ventures cuts new India fund size to $350-M: report
Multi-stage venture capital firm Lightspeed Venture Partners is raising a new, smaller India-focused fund targeting a corpus of USD 300-350 million for its fifth India vehicle, a lower target compared to the USD 500 million it had raised for its previous India fund in 2022.The venture capital firm is recalibrating its India strategy to prioritise early-stage deeptech and artificial intelligence startups. Lightspeed plans to be more selective, focusing on early-stage opportunities rather than broad-based growth investing.
